Enrolments

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Shailer Park State School is enrolment managed and has an official catchment area. All enrolments are subject to the Shailer Park State School Enrolment Management Plan.

Any student, whose principal place of residence is within the school's catchment area is entitled to enrol at the school and Parents or legal guardians will need to demonstrate that the student's principal place of residence is within the catchment area. A catchment area​ map is available and should be used to determine whether you live in the catchment area

Proof of residency documentation will be required such as a lease agreement, electricity bill or rates notice or documents proving purchase of your property. If you cannot supply these, you will be required to complete a Statutory Declaration.

You can enrol by:

  • Collecting an enrolment pack from the school between 8am - 3:15pm
  • Completing the New Student Information form and emailing to enrolments@shailerparkss.eq.edu.au​

Out-of-catchment Applications

Applications from outside the school's catchment are welcome however Shailer Park State School is catchment managed and your application is subject to the Principal's discretion as priority must be given to those current and future students residing in our catchment.  Your child will be placed on a waiting list and you will be contacted if a position becomes available.
