  • To develop the knowledge, skills and self discipline required in the performance of music.
  • To use music to develop the individual – socially, emotionally and physically.
  • To provide performance experience in school based ensembles, and to take advantage of other.
  • Opportunities which may arise such as camps, community groups, workshops.
  • To enjoy the experience of music making.
  • To complement the classroom music program.
