The school tuckshop is a valuable asset to the school and is the responsibility of the P&C Association. It operates every day from 8.15am to 11.30am, except Mondays. Our tuckshop provides a wide range of food and drinks. All items are ‘green’ and ‘amber’ products and along with complies with 'Smart Choices' as recommended by Education Queensland.
Jen French, our paid convenor, looks after the everyday running of the tuckshop and relies heavily on volunteers. These volunteers are an invaluable help in keeping the tuckshop operational 4 days a week. Tuckshop volunteering gives you an opportunity to be involved in your child/children’s school life in a practical way.
Children need to pre-order using a brown paper bag system. Please write name, class, order and money enclosed on front of the paper bag. Orders should be placed in the tuckshop box in the classroom. Over the counter sales for breakfast and for snacks (drinks, ice-blocks) during the lunch break is available.
To provide this service daily, the tuckshop needs an ongoing, reliable roster of volunteers who can work at least one day a month. If you can spare any time, even for an hour or two, please phone our tuckshop convenor, Jen, it would be greatly appreciated.
